The dataset behind the checker — every row sourced, every gap labeled.
Fifty states plus DC, four questions each: How long does the law give you to claim the held-back depreciation? May the insurer depreciate your labor? Must a partial repair match? And where does a complaint go? Where we could read the law ourselves, the row says VERIFIED and cites it. Where we could not, the row says UNVERIFIED in plain sight — we would rather show you the seam than hide it.
Only four states' floors were verified against the primary text at build time, and they are the four that change outcomes:
Everywhere else the dataset says, honestly: the policy's clock controls — unverified. That does not mean no law exists; it means we did not verify one, and the correction log records each upgrade as state texts get read. Run your own numbers in the checker — it uses this table.
