An authority dataset that hides its seams isn't one. This log records every verification limit found at build and every correction after. The standing offer: if a row in our tables misstates your state's law, write to help@doogex.com with the citation — verified corrections land here and in the dataset, dated.

October 20, 2026 — launch entries

Deadline floors: verified against primary text for CA (Ins. Code § 2051.5), MD (Ins. § 19-213), NM (OSI Bulletin 2024-003), and CO (C.R.S. § 10-4-110.8). All other states are labeled "policy clock controls — unverified" rather than asserted. Quarterly re-verification is scheduled; next pass January 2027.
Labor depreciation: positions follow the HKR 50-state survey (updated Aug 28, 2025), spot-checked against the cited rules and cases. States with no entry in the survey are labeled "no rule located" — absence from the survey is not proof no rule exists.
Matching: Tennessee's rule (0780-01-05-.10), cited in the IRMI survey, could not be read in full primary text at build and is flagged UNVERIFIED in the state table rather than repeated as fact. Alaska's matching rule is cited to 3 AAC 26.090 via its regulatory text (the "line of sight" standard); Minnesota's position rests on the Cedar Bluff case (2014).
Michigan labor: the survey's "allowed" reading leans on a 1987 case; the current DIFS bulletin (2024-26-INS) is narrower than the survey implies. Michigan is labeled MIXED, not allowed.
Insurance department doors: all 51 URLs were live-checked at build. Three needed repair: Alaska (department site refuses automated checks; the URL is corroborated by the department's own publications), New Jersey, and Rhode Island (whose insurance regulator sits inside the Department of Business Regulation).
Allstate class action: the Arizona labor-depreciation settlement (claim deadline Jan 29, 2027) is referenced via settlement-administrator listings; readers should confirm the class definition and deadline on the official settlement site before relying on either.

How corrections work here

Every page of this site carries a "checked" date. When a primary source changes — a statute amended, a bulletin withdrawn (Alaska withdrew a labor bulletin in January 2025; it happens), a settlement finalized — the dataset and the checker change with it, and the change is logged on this page. The dataset is re-verified quarterly.
